What is the oldest game you played on a console recently? I played Silent Hill on PS1 with my friends just the other day and it was released in 1999.
Was playing the original jojo's bizarre adventure fighting game the other day on my dreamcast and that was released in 1999.
played Tekken 3 on my friend's computer just recently, and I was surprised to see it still holds up. I'm still able to do all the moves and combos I still remember and it plays pretty much just like all the updated versions we have now. I find that very impressive considering the game is over a decade old.
Tekken is a game that evolves in a way where you can go between versions just fine. Little additions here and there and lots of new characters. It's a game all about ADDING and never taking away which is why I love tekken so much.
I recently emulated Resident Evil 2 on an PC emulated called ePSXe. It runs very smooth on my Intel core i5 with Inte HD Graphics 3000 laptop.
This is a bit embarrassing. Everyone has played such old games here. My oldest game is probably Half-Life 2, which got released on 2004, 10 years ago. Wow, 10 years ago is pretty old. Anyways, I did play some Doom and Quake a while ago but just more recently, into Half-Life 2. The game holds up in some parts, less in others. I feel like the game is a bit too hyped up now, with all the critics saying that this game is the best one in the decade. I had more fun with the Portal series than Half-Life 2. I don't really know why, I just can't relate to the characters in the game, especially with the main character being silent.
Same here. I was surprised how similar everything was when I replayed some of the older versions, and besides the added characters and a few additional moves and combos. They were pretty much the same in terms of mechanics. I guess it's a major part of their classic nature.
I also played the old Tekken on my old laptop that I found a few days ago in the basement. Good memories.
I was actually helping my sister move last month and i found my old gba, it turned out she stole it years ago. So i played through golden sun again. I tend to do that every few years, just replay old games i have kicking around. super c, diablo 2, code veronica, final fantasies, chrono trigger, the longest journey. I heard they were remaking rise of the triad, so im prolly gonna fire up the old one, i havent played that in over 10 years.
Is there a PC version or were y using an emulator? I tried using an emulator but. I couldn't get saved games to work so unfortunately all the characters remain locked.
The oldest game I played recently is probably an old Tekken. It was quite fun playing it with my friend even though I sucked pretty hard (or he's just good ).
Oh okay then I am very jealous because I would love to still have my PS2 and get to play my old favorite games on it whenever I wanted to because that. Was the console that had a lot of my favorite games
I recently revisited the first Tekken Tag Tournament on my PS2. I still don't have Tekken Tag Tournament 2 yet and I do want it. I love the huge selection of characters and the tag team mechanic.
The oldest I have played is the classic Half Life 2, and at that point in time we all thought that it was really great with one of the best graphics ever. We were really amazed at how much detail was there or how great the physics engine was. We have come a long way from then.
Pokemon definitely, so old. I didn't play much games until when I was quite old. So maybe one of the pokemon games like emerald or something
I didn't know that Silent Hill could be played with friends. As far as the oldest game is concerned, I have played Tekken 3.
