This newly posted video from E3 reveals that Ubisoft’s The Crew will be following the MMORPG formula in more than gameplay.

“One of the things that I really want to do is to keep providing people with content after launch,” The Crew Creative Director Julian Gerighty said in the video. “Free Content just to keep people engaged in the game. I really see this as your one stop shop for action driving.”

That’s good news in an age where everything seems to be so compartmentalized and pay to play, and it often feels like chunks of games are broken off and held back so publishers can charge you more for them.

As for what the content might be, Gerighty doesn’t say.

Gerighty also says that the E3 trailer showing a coast to coast drive in the crew’s virtual United States is actually a mission from the game. He says the drive takes about two and half hours, and there are other similarly long mission in the game.

You can register for The Crew’s PC beta here. The game is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One Nov. 11.

Ubisoft has done everything right up until now. They haven't gone even a step wrong. I am really looking forward to The Crew.
