Take a Rainy Day Drive, at Way Past the Speed Limit, In Latest World of Speed Trailer

Here’s a new trailer for World of Speed, Slightly Mad Studios upcoming PC racing MMO.

The trailer features a battle between the Mazda RX-7 and Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution and also shows off some of the game’s weather effects. Weather effects are apparently the battleground on which the war for this gen’s racing game supremacy will be fought, and World of Speed looks pretty well armed with some nice-looking rain.

You also get a look at the game’s customization features, and some of the tracks, including Moscow and London.

World of Speed will be free-to-play when it launches later this year, although no exact release date has been announced. To sign up for the World of Speed Beta, or to find out more about the game, visit the official site.

I love the way every new game is focusing really hard on making sure the weather realistic, nice touch!
