I have read through the forum and I haven't seen any topics on NFS... This is one of the best racing games ever made with the best customizable cars too. I paid $20 for a McClaren F1 a few years back. lol.
The reason there aren't many, at least from my guess, is that everyone knows Need for Speed already and it's been discussed so much already. On this forum though, you can be introduced to new racing games that can give you a different challenge and different experiences. If you focus on Need for Speed though, you won't be able to find new things and you'll be stuck on races.
Need for Speed has its place. Though I don't know what the hell they did to Criteron Games to make the last couple so poor in comparison to their earlier efforts.
I love this series, especially the ones on PS2 since I played most during that era. I'm not even that much into cars but this game made me obsessed with constantly upgrading the performance and look of mine. I'd say that's a huge feat to get someone like me to be interested in cars in that way.
You wish has been fulfilled. There are so many NFS threads now. Anyways, I am here to say that I am not a fan of NFS series. I am not talking about the earlier games here - I am talking about the games that have been released recently. They are not that good to be honest.
I got to agree with you that Need for Speed games are one of the best racing games ever made. I played Need for Speed Underground for about two years and i got to say that it is the best racing game i ever played so far. It is true that i haven't played that many racing games but still there is no other game i played to compare with it.
