I haven't played all yet but to this point San Andreas is my favourite. I just like the big cities and the gang fights. You can see it is oldschool but surely it is not outdated.
GTA4 is my favorite. In large part this is due to the more authentic characterization it has compared to the previous games in the series. I've yet to play GTA5.
My thoughts exactly. GTA III had something special about it, but obviously I liked the larger world and better planes etc that San Andreas had. Vice City seemed a bit mediocre for me. Funnily enough I was just going to make this topic but it had already been made lol
San Andreas for sure. GTA V came close...but still San Andreas takes the cake. I loved GTA IV but it's tone just wasn't to my liking. It took itself way too seriously. I haven't really played most others to comment on them, so yeah.

No doubt, the best Grand Theft Auto game is GTA V which is the flagship game for Grand Theft Auto presently. GTA V has lots of impressive features that make it unique and unchallenged such as the feature of controlling three characters and hunting wild animals.
San Andreas for me. There's just nothing like taking off in a jet pack to escape the police, then flying dozens of feet upward and blowing them and their cars up. Lol.
Hands down Vice City. It had the most fun missions and the best playable character in Tommy Vercetti. Plus, the city is a lot cooler in all its garish glory than most other GTA cities.
San Andreas, but now it's GTA V. GTA IV was a bit of a letdown, and after a week I got really tired of it. San Andreas always will be a classic, and I had so much fun on that game. GTA V is simply incredible though, and there is so much to do.
San Andreas is the best game that ever came to this plant. I loved it so much that I fight my friend when he broke it on accident. It was the type of game that I would play over night and day. I would never get bored from playing it because there was a lot of things to do and the missions was actually fun too. I like the whole type of gang fights and claiming your territory. I like the big city also. I personally think that if Rockstar Games would of continued a game like San Andreas not the GTA V. I mean its still a good game, but I like the old school one. I liked the character a lot carol, so that why I loved the game so much. I mean we had better things to do in GTA SA, than we do in GTA V that my take on it. If they are going to make another GTA, I would like them to combine all of the GTA's together to make a huge one
My best pick would be Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It was my very first Grand Theft Auto game I've ever played, I liked the story line. The game play is fun. From all the hype, and reviews for Grand Theft Auto 5, I'm sure I'd agree with most people. That's if I had actually tried it. I really want to. It looks like such a fun game, I'll be getting it someday. But for now, I'm sticking to the same opinion and picking San Andreas. It's a really great game!
So far I've played all of them except for GTA V and San Andreas has to be my favorite. The gang fights and minigames like pool just made the game so much better for me. The fact that you could also train your character, swim, work out at the gym, it was just too much and I loved all of it.
There are some classic gta that are my favorite but GTA v since its new and more developed I would say that's the best one out there right now.
GTA3 was my favourite of them all. Great game-play and general roaming was really fun. I'm pretty sure number 5 is going to take the title once I have played enough hours on it though.
I would say it is between San Andreas and the current GTA V. I have not gotten to the end of GTA V, so i cannot be definitive in saying it is the best, but i do believe it has the slight edge when comparing the two games.
Ever since I played GTA V, it took the number one spot on my list. It is such an amazing game and i'm sure many other people will agree. The graphics are great, and Rockstar did a great job developing this game. It was worth every dollar on the $60 I spent.
