I think that with games made now they tend to rely on the internet and the servers may be slow at times which can be annoying when you are trying to play the game and the connection gets lost and you can't play online. I reckon that console games can be a good choice as they don't rely on the internet connections which can cause an issue for gamers and you need to make sure the connection is good in the area you live in. I usually try and play the game in the afternoon when the connection is good in my area and also like how the game can be enjoyable, as you can see how other players are and can play against them as well.

I don't know what should be the speed for seamless gameplay. Can you please answer me the exact Internet speed needed to play the game?

Sometimes, the problem lies in your internet cable. The internet speed becomes slow because of the cable problem. So he should get it checked.

I agree. I think an Ethernet connection is still the best so I'd recommend that as much as possible. I recently just switched. The connect of my laptops and video consoles into a cable instead of using wifi and although the speeds are pretty much the same the stability of the connection improved greatly.

No I can't since I haven't played online before I can't give you an exact answer. Why don't you try it out, you never know maybe it doesn't need a very fast connection.

The main issue with games that rely on a server, which is all the multiplayer games since there is no other way to make a multiplayer game without a server. Unless of course we're talking locally through LAN then we wouldn't need a server. But still, the problem lies with these servers getting saturated most of the time the devs don't think about the amount of people that will be joining or they think about it but fall short. We just need to be patient if this happens and report the issues.

When a game I like suddenly loses multiplayer or starts to lag extremely I start to get twitchy lol. I agree though that all we can really do is be patient and report the problem as sometimes it also just takes a bit of time before the developers figure out what's wrong and learn how to prevent the mistake next time. Often times too I discover that the connection issues are on my side.

Try changing your connection settings or check out your internet connection, it probably isn't well connected, it happenedto me some months ago.

It used to happen to me back in the day. I've changed the provider since then. Now I'm not having any troubles. If it's also happening to your internet connection = that's definitely a provider at fault.

Some games do tend to lose connection when you're playing inline a lot more than others for some reason, and MXGP2 does seem to be one of those games that suffers the most in this department.

All I can think of is that the game uses a lot of resources, and if you have even one small blip in the internet connection it can knock the game off-line whereas other games are a lot ore forgiving for some reason.

Servers tend to have such issues. And most of the people making use of the slow connection to slow servers lead to problems.I learned about this through experience, it's hard to find it out.

That also happens to me at times, to think I was using a postpaid connection.

World has yet to reach many places on internet connection. So online gaming is something to look over at for sure.
