A topic created to fully satisfy all your DiRT: Showdown needs.

This isn't my most favorite game in the DiRT series, but I think it holds a certain charm nonetheless. What's your take on the game mechanics and the multiplayer experience? The game clearly wants us to be online, and it is clearly pushing that notion onto its players.

What are your thoughts on the audio quality? Personally I think it's okay but it could've been way better. And the gameplay too.

It definitely doesn't feel as serious as some of the other games in these series, however, with its limited track selection and a strong bias towards multiplayer, who are we to complain right?

Did Showdown create a lasting impression on you and will you come back to it if you aren't playing it so far?

Overall it's not that bad in my opinion but it certainly has it's perks that make it stand out from the rest.

DiRT: Showdown is not all that bad (I kinda like to play it once in a while with my friends), but it sure doesn't fall into my favorites list. :)

It's not as bad as some people say, it feels a bit nostalgic because it recycled some tracks from DiRT 3 with explosions. It has that arcade feel to it, which isn't much but it's a decent way to pass the time.

I think that aspect you commented about nostalgia is something that should be considered so that DiRT: Showdown is not a completely bad game. :D

love to play that game. Dirt Showdown is way more different than the traditional racing games out there.

I am sure many people around share the same sentiments. Not everything about the Dirt series is something people like. But there is definitely something that makes them play. So we all are on that point.

Never tried this one. I read a couple of reviews which implied that the game is not particularly good. Don't care much for the multiplayer, myself.

I played Dirt: Showdown only for a few days. It was good, but not great, in my opinion. My favorite in the series is still Dirt 3, to which I switched back once I stopped Showdown. The physics and the multiplayer experience of Dirt: Showdown is not even close to the standard set by the other games. I haven't opened the game in months, but I remember how glitchy it was when I first got it.

It's not really that bad as to what other people say. In my opinion, although it's not the best, it's a great game to play with friends and it's a great bonding with family too.

The physic on Dirt: Showdown is a little bit off. When making a corner, you don't really need decelerate which is really not what most gamers were expecting.

Yes. Definitely! Most of the gamers were expecting something else.

If you haven't had a chance to play DiRT: Showdown, consider yourself lucky. I would not recommend buying it. The tracks are mostly recycled. So of if you have played earlier games, then there is no need to get DiRT: Showdown.

It's not that bad if you ask me. Lot of people find it good enough for the play. So it's a good game overall compared to many out there.

In Dirt Showdown many of the actual track layouts are quite dull- like the short and flat and entirely unspectacular Miami street courses, and the Michigan loop circuit as well. The Baja tracks are probably the game's best though, with a few camber and elevation changes.
