Just curious, which other areas? To me it feels like they've got everything right: realistic driving physics and realistic graphics. The best they can do now I believe is give the players more tracks and more cars. And more game modes.

I'm not saying that it's bad, at this point in time it's the best there is but they could offer an ester egg and have dirt bikes or monster trucks. Something completely different to the regular car line up and have one or two crazy tracks. Nothing too drastic just something for people to hunt for in the game.

That actually would be great. They did have a few easter eggs in some games . . .

For example there is the Loch Ness Monster at the Trial Mountain Circuit.

Well in general I think that the whole repetitive issue can really work for you or against you depending on where you are. I can certainly think of a lot of games where I do not want them to change much at all, so if it is repetitive I would say it is a good thing, Of course, for the most part you want some shake-up though and you really run the risk of losing players. Interesting stuff, and thanks for sharing.

I personally think that every racing games turns out to be repetitive once you've used all the cars and you've raced on every track of the game. You could use other cars and game modes to make it more enjoyable, indeed.

The Gran Turismo games have been far too repetitive, in my own personal taste. I haven't bought any. I have only played in-store.

Every racing game is going to be repetitive though to some extent. There will always only be a certain amount of cars, and a certain amount of tracks to compete on, but for true racing fans that isn't that big of an issue.

For me, and I've been playing racing games for many years now, it's all about not only winning races but also beating your opponents. When you're not racing others then I can also spend hours just trying to beat my own lap records or timings so while racing games might not be all out action like you would find in say a game such as GTA V, games like Gran Turismo still offer a challenge to those of us who prefer the simulation based games, and that for me is what racing should be.

I have to say that I also have the impression that "Gran Turismo" is a game that has been repeating itself more and more over time. It's kinda annoying sometimes.

I don't see many innovations as they release the new versions. Of course they exist, but they don't draw me so much attention.

Sometimes I wonder how long "Gran Turismo" will continue this way.

This has been the downfall of many games, the creators realize that it's popular but don't make any effort to improve the game.

    Yo
You are very right. Buy the time they discover that they should make up the fault, many fans would have already migrated to more organized games.

This can be easily avoided if they just follow up on their updates.

In this case, the problem is exclusively theirs precisely because they don't make the decision to evolve what is there and is working.

Evolving can be a difficult process but it's worth it.

I agree. I think a big selection of cars especially makes these games less repetitive. Not a fan of the multiplayer though, so I really hate when for example ai is done badly and is too aggressive.

It's always complicated, especially when involving financial decisions that if taken in the wrong way will leave a lot of people angry, haha.

It doesn't matter if they become angry, results matter more.

Not everyone thinks about the results but more about the work.

I agree with you, the results are always more important. But unfortunately, things don't work that way.
