I wоuld likе tо sее: аbility tо bе оn оwn tеаm аnd put spоnsоrs оn bikе/jеrsеy. I think еvеry rасing gаmе nееds this аbility оbviоsuly updаtеd grаphiсs. Thеy MXGP wаs dесеnt but thе trасk nееds wоrk Bеttеr hаndling. I thоught thе right thumbstiсk wаs а littlе "stiff" Sinсе this is "spоnsоrеd" by MXGP (оr sо I thоught I rеаd sоmеwhеrе), I undеrstаnd thеrе is nоt muсh hоpе fоr а build yоur оwn trасk mоdе. I hаvе bееn wаnting this fеаturе оn mоdеrn rасing gаmеs fоr sо lоng nоw. Mоrе intеrасtiоn/ sоmеthing оthеr thаn rасing: Fоr еxаmplе whаt if yоu соuld slоwly build uоp yоur hоusе/bаsе. First stаrt with а nоthing, likе thе mxgp "hоmеbаsе". Thеn аs yоu prоgrеss yоu соuld hаvе а smаll trасk yоu саn prасtiсе оn. Kind оf likе а frееmоdе. Thеn аs yоu gеt bеttеr аnd rаnk up yоu саn gеt а biggеr trасk/diffеrеnt sсеnеry аnd bе аblе tо usе diffеrеnt bikеs. I think sоmеthing nееds tо bе аddеd bесаusе MXGP wаs kind оf stаlе. Thе rасing wаs fun but gоt kind оf оld аftеr twо rасеs. Bеttеr bikе upgrаdеs (оnсе аgаin, this is оnly pоssiblе if thеy put thе аllwоеd tо bе оn yоur оwn tеаm fеаturе) Thеsе fеаturеs аrе fоr singlе plаyеr оnly. I соuld саrе lеss аbоut thе multiplаyеr аspесt but if pеоplе hаvе suggеstiоns оthеr thаn lеss lаg/wаiting timеs, sаy thеm!
I have played other games that had this "mini game" built in. Where you build up your character slowly and then get upgrades. Not like a RPG. But it adds value to the game. My first encounter with this concept was a boxing game awhile back on the Dreamcast. The training session had small mini games that grew your character off the real fights. It was fun and added to the overall value of the game.
I'd like to seem them fix some of the various problems with the game. Stuff like the online on the PC is kind of glitchy for me and a lot of other players who try it. Improved graphics would be nice for PC players, though I wouldn't expect anything like that to be added.
I am very disappointed because I hate the fact that this feature is only available for the single players. Well, I think multiplayer should demand the same feature in the game. I think you are right, we should discuss it online.
Could I put down in my wishlist that I wished they could recall the game completely and start all over again with it right from the very beginning? There's a lot more wrong with this game than what there is right with it, and I think if they are planning on releasing a 3rd game in the series, they seriously need to go back to the drawing board in my opinion. It might be a good game to play to kill a bit of time every now and again, but I and I think everyone else expected a lot more than what's been delivered.
In my opinion, the graphics is the most important factor. Almost all the gamers want to have a better gaming graphics. Additional features matter but graphics is the most important one.
Yea, that's right. They need to go back to the drawing board. Although there isn't any official news released but I think they are working on the 3rd version of the game.
Well the game is out so this thread is pretty much worthless, but let's talk about a MXGP3 wishlist. I'm expecting far better physics from the next game and hopefully better sounds and a realistic crowd.
That's a mighty big wishlist you have there Robcat...I think I would go for better gaming graphics. I'm sure that is the basic thing that everyone wants. Isn't it too early to be talking about MXGP3?
I agree MXGP2 came out a short time ago so we will have to wait for the next game to see if there are any improvements. I personally am really enjoying MXGP2, I still think it's one of the best of it's type.
Honestly I expected much more when it comes to graphics, I hope they make it their priority to improve the aesthetic quality of their game.
It would be encouraging if they were working on a third version of the game. Sometimes there are hiccups in series. I could give a few examples where the first version was great, second was awful, and then the third was great again. I don't know if I feel they need to start over but I can see where you are coming from.
It's the best in the genre in my opinion but that doesn't say much, the game does need work and I'm sure the modding community will do their best to add stuff. That being said, they can't change the gameplay and the physics of the game so we'll have to wait for MXGP3 for that.
MXGP3 won't be released for a while so I guess that we are going to have enjoy MXGP2 for now. It could be worse PlayStation users can only play MXGP. MXGP2 might not be perfect but it's still better then MXGP.
Judging by the reception of the game we may not see a third release, rather something completely new that incorporates the best of MXGP2 into it. At least that's what I would hope, the franchise does not seem to have so much to improve on itself.
I would want it to have good graphics, good features, a good online mode with a bunch of players from all around the world just to make it funnier and more enjoyable, that's all I would like from it.
I think this is a great feature to have and I have enjoyed it in pretty much any game that had it. I do think this would add a great new dimension to the game where you don't just have to aim for finishing first all the time and instead can have more goals to achieve.
