I'm not sure why that is either to be honest, but each to their own I suppose!

I'd imagine what you use, and what you feel most comfortable with, would all come down to what you're used to aswell at the end of the day.

Controllers are defiantly made for racing games unless you can afford a gaming wheel. Since the trigger buttons are pressure sensitive you have superior control over the throttle and brakes, the steering is also easier with the sticks since unlike the keyboard which has linear controls, this has analogue controls with more control over the vehicle onscreen, so a controller is better than a keyboard for pc any day of the week.

Yeah as long as you grow used to it then it will become your favorite type of controller. I've found myself not having my regular controllers for one reason or another in the past and eventually whatever I used as substitute as bad as they are I did grow used to them as time went on.

When it comes to racing games, fighting games, and third person games, I personally think that a video game controller is better, since the analog sticks as well as the limited buttons would be easier to manage compared to the large number of button assignments in the PC keyboard. The thing to remember with controllers is that they are collectively in the reach of your fingertips, and you can create fast decisions when you are in a pinch. In keyboards, you would definitely be finding yourself at a harder time, considering you have to remember which buttons do something, and which buttons don't.

Personally, I like the keyboard. I know it sounds strange but I think I can play the game easily with the keyboard. It looks clean and the controller is kinda messy for me.

I think I feel more natural when I play a game on a keyboard. By the way, what's the cost of a racing wheel?

Here in the UK, you can pick up a decent racing wheel complete with pedals for as little as £30. While they're not the best, they'll certainly give you a taste of what a racing game is like played with a wheel, and when you get used to it then maybe then you can spend a little more.

I will go with the controller. The controllers are the best devices for playing the racing games. It gives a more realistic feeling. They were available at very high cost but now, the price has gone down. There are many affordable controllers available in the market that you can buy.

That's a great price. In my country, the cheapest ones are available in the price range of $10-$12. I have bought it from the local manufacturers. It feels wonderful when I play it with a controller and a steering wheel. I would recommend everyone to buy a steering wheel so that you experience the realistic feeling.

I'd also recommend that those fans of racing games try a wheel, but not only that, persevere with it as I think a lot of people don't use them for long enough. They'll try a wheel, find out it takes some getting used to and go back to a controller instead without giving it a chance.
