I'm a little bored. I think this goes back to the other thread about adding a story. Just something to keep people interested outside of depending only on racing. The racing is good, don't get me wrong. It'd just be nice to have something more.
I'm giving it a little break as I do every few months I get bored. It's an amazing game, and every time I pick it back up again I play it non-stop for weeks, until I get bored again. I think it's the normal progression of this game for me, I need a break once in a while to keep it fresh.
Not exactly bored but I have put the game off for a while because there are many other games that I'd like to play. I do often get bored when I play way too much though so I try to keep the amount of gaming time down. I think we can agree that the game is amazing but can't be played for too long periods?
I can see why you can get bored with this game, Gran Turismo is not particularly outstanding when it comes to features that set it apart from other racing games. Take a break for a few weeks maybe, have some fun with more casual racing games like NFS or Mario Kart before coming back?
I still like the game, but I don't play it constantly. I pace myself and try to take breaks every once in awhile so that the game remains a little fresh each time I pick it up.
I think it's in the wrong category. I like the game but on a level like any basic racing or NASCAR game. If I play it like that it's OK, otherwise I do find it a bit boring after a while. It's not one of my favorites and I doubt I would recommend it to anyone.
I didn't get bored of this game fast, because I just played it from time to time, but I'm getting bored of it now. I think that it is becoming too repetitive for my likings and I hope that they will change that in the future releases.
Been bored for awhile. There's better games out already, so I'll be waiting for the new update and DLC.
Too be honest I'm getting a little tired of some of the overly worked graphics in games that tend to try and be more cinematic. Does that make sense? I appreciate the effort and look but I really enjoyed something as simple as the old Golden Eye James bond game back in the 90's. It was clean, moved along well, a bit predictable after a while but was not overloaded with things that the designers are seemingly trying to take your breath away with. Is this just me?
The lack of a Story Mode or at least some kind of creation so you'd be able to roleplay a little bit or immerse yourself in the game it's just too much of a crutch. It doesn't make sense that after 6 games they are still repeating the same formula of "improve the graphics a bit". I thought that had changed with Gran Turismo 5 which added a bunch of modes. That made me think we'd finally get a Story Mode in 6, now I'm disappointed. Lesson: Don't expect anything from game developers.
I played it for a few months and played it with my boyfriend. I find that when we play games together we don't get so bored of them so easily. Play it with a friend so you can learn new tips from them.
I'm not sure what people really expect here. If you sit around playing ANY 1 game over and over, day in and day out, of course you'll get bored of it. How can you expect not to? With that said, because I do go back to my PS3 and play it at least 7 times out of a month, no I'm not bored of it. It's one of the few games I go back to even though I have the Platinum for it already.
It's not a fighting game where you can play on the same screen with your friends. It's just not possible to do so.
I have grown bored of this but honestly the same can be said for me with any other traditional racer out there. It's just too repetitive for me to only have a goal of coming in first place in each race. I much prefer racing games with other goals like crashing into competitor cars now.
Yeah, they definitely need an update. I've been getting bored pretty easily and I turned of the game looking for action instead. An story-mode, or something to make it more interesting would be the key to make the boredom go away.
Got bored a while ago, It's too similar to GT5 in my opinion. I appreciate the handling updates but it needed more changes I believe. This year is great for the racing genre, we have so many different types of racing games it's fantastic.
I agree, there were many racing games released this year and even more are going to be released soon. Anyone who loves racing, this whole year is like Christmas.
I wouldn't necessarily say it's boring. But like I've said in other threads, it is repetitive. The only time its gets fun again is when a bunch of the friends come over and we play head to head. Having a few beers help too.
