Phones have a wide range of sizes. Some phones are just within the 3 inch range while others go above 5 inches. When playing games, what screen size do you prefer? Do you want phones with small screens or large screens? I prefer phones with large 5 inch screens.
I prefer bigger. The bigger the better. But I still don't think that any mobile gaming will compare to proper full size console gaming.
I think 4 to 5 inches are better for mobile games. Anything less will be very hard to control. For that matter, I think tabs are more useful in mobile gaming.
I like bigger screens for playing games, and I find it a bit awkward to play on smaller screens, which is terrible for me because I love smaller phones rather than big ones that take up so much pocket space. It's why I only mostly game on tablets when it comes to mobile gaming.
Of course if you want to experience the best gaming, then bigger is better. You want to feel every inch of the gaming either when it is for racing or any other game for that matter.
For me, I agree with a lot of people saying that the bigger the better. It sort of gives you more of the realistic feel to the game when you're playing on a giant plasma TV screen.
I hate phones with big screens so for me a 3 inch screen is OK. Yeah I must admit that when you're used to playing on a larger screen [playing a racing game on such a small screen feels like] it's not realistic but then if I'm out somewhere and bored there's not much of a choice but to play my games on a phone that I don't find inconvenient lugging around.
The best size for gaming on a phone is in my opinion 5 inch, because you can still use the phone as you would use smaller phones (with one hand, easy to answer calls, easy to write messages etc.), and you can see the game that you are playing a lot better because of the bigger screen. When I got used to a 5 inch screen I can't even get back to a smaller screen when I'm playing games, it just seems too small for me now.
I prefer phones with big screens and, so I have one that has 4.5 inches and the screen is perfect for gaming. I also use my tablet which has a way bigger screen than my phone and I love playing games on it too.
Same here. Tablets are much less cramped and so much more detail can be fit into the screen so you don't have to sacrifice much, especially when there is onscreen controls that block the view.
Well, that really depends on what size phone I like to carry with me. I like it to be 4 or maybe 5, but not more. Phones are getting larger and I don't like that it is making walking or running uncomfortable. I like larger screens and even playing on a tab, but its not the size I want to be carrying around.
yea but its hard to really enjoy the game graphic wise, control wise etc. more to pass the time really.
Basically anything above 4 inches is great for playing. I think that a far more important factor is the screen resolution. I have a phone that has 5 inch screen, but kind of a low resolution for it - 480x800. Don't get me wrong - the games don't look bad, but they are far away from those miracles that the 1080p screens can pull out.
This is why I'm wanting to get a controller for mine. The only thing I worry about is that not many games might be compatible with controllers but I trust that the few that are would be enough to keep me satisfied.
All the emulators are though.. I'd get a USB adapter for a controller, if I were you. It's easier to me plus it makes setting them up a synch.
I don't think I can play emulators on ios unfortunately so I'd have to wait for an android device which I plan on putting a lot of emulators on as well as buying a controller for it. Hopefully two player modes will be available.
