The one where Trevor tries to extort information from one guy. It was too damn graphic. I had to take a brake after that.
I haven't gotten to that part yet, but just how detailed it is when you shoot someone in the head randomly while walking on the street is pretty graphic. I am sure as I get further in the game there will more parts that might be more graphic.
This mission was indeed pretty grim. Shocking that stuff like that is still allowed, however, that's why it's an 18
Yeah the torture one with Trevor was awful. That one was definitely the worst. I mean they actually made you do stuff to use the various instruments. It was really sick.
The most violent mission is the mission "by the book". This mission has Trevor torture a guy in order to get some information. There's a reason why this game is rated M for mature, and this mission shows exactly why. It was pretty graphic, but nothing traumatizing.
Yeah it was pretty sick but having played all of the GTA games that have been put out, i cannot say i was shocked by anything in the game.
The most violent mission would have to be the mission where Trevor tortures the Indian man for information. Personally I didn't want to be forced to torture someone, it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth when it was all done. Luckily for me, Trevor did let the man go, which was nice.
I agree with many of the above posters. I honestly think that the most brutal mission in the game has to be the one when Trevor has the guy tied up on the chair and you have the option to choose which weapons you want to torture him with. Honestly I think that that level in the game was not called for and I think that Rockstar has been getting a lot of heat about that level.
I agree the extortion mission for sure, it took the game to another level, I was almost a little different after it, and took a few days away.
By the Book. First let's not forget that this is a mature game. Torturing other human beings is a normal procedure, done all over the world, even in countries that call themselves pillars of civilization. Of course Rockstar knew this is controversial and would be discussed. Rockstar is good at showing us the hypocrisy of our consumer society. This makes us think and talk about torture... What I do think though is that there should have been an alternate option, the player should have been able to choose. But then again, that very thing would have been out of character for Trevor, who is a mad psychopath.
Why? I didn't find that mission in the least bit horrifying. I guess I was just desensitized by the internet. The torture scene didn't even seem to last very long.
I'd say that the most gut wrenching part of that scene is when Trevor pulls the guys tooth out. I mean, something of that must really hurt to the nth degree. Wasn't nearly as graphic as I thought it would be though.
I don;t really remember exactly which mission was it, but I remember Trevor being involved in it. I think that was some chase.
2 parts went too far for me, the first was when Trevor goes over to the lost and kills Johnny and the second was the torture mission that couldn't be skipped! I have a weak stomach..
Definitely this. The game kind of went out of character with this mission, not that it was bad but peculiar. Went a bit too far but I suppose GTA is the sort of game to do these sort of things. I didn't hate the scene and I like that you could choose how to torture the guy but yes I did feel bad about it.
Oh, the torture mission was rough. It was tough to watch. Especially with the guy's realistic reactions to your torture tactics. Still, I guess that was the only way to get valid information for that assassination... I guess.
