So I got a message through from Xbox Live to say that my account "engaged in inappropriate communications" and that I'd more or less been banned from sending messages to anybody for a week. I check my messages to see exactly what it was they were referring to and so far as I can tell, the only thing that they may be referring to is a simple "LOL!" that I sent back to a guy after he'd spent around 30 minutes giving me abusive messages after he had spent around 30 minutes blowing people up/griefing others in his tank only for me to Ghost, approach him in an Insurgent and blow him sky high without him even knowing about it. So I ask, have any of you ever been guilty of taking this game so seriously, that a person - who is unable to be killed for whatever reason (OTR, Wallbreaching, BST, or just plain good at the game...) - should be reported for no good reason? Or if so, what reasons were they? Tags: toyota fortuner 2017, hd700 dong vang, giĆ” xe attrage 2017
I have never reported anyone. If I came across a hacker then I would report him but only if he was bothering people and ruining everyone's time. If he was just doing things that make the game a bit more fun for everyone I wouldn't do anything. A lot of people unfortunately report players just because they are better than them and unfortunately Rockstar don't really look into these reports properly and just ban these players or put them in bad sport lobbies
I don't think reporting someone is a good idea. Its all fun we play to have. Why should you report someone?? Conduct is very important in online games, as it promotes the fun.
Rhetorically, Why would I report someone while on game.. Nevertheless, while online, it may suck to a point where one can report an unfair/cheat challenger.. Maybe..
I never had that problem since I don't own an X-Box but if ever I did, then that player would have to really annoy me before I even bother.
I've never filed a report. That's mostly because I ended up in a hacked lobby my very first time playing the online mode. For some reason, Rockstar seems to think that if you're even in such a lobby that you're complicit in the actions of others. I got my account banned just like that. I certainly applaud taking a hard-line stance against online cheating, but if your method is so nuclear that it takes out anyone in the vicinity of a person hacking, you've got a problem. Sadly, what they don't have is a customer. I won't be purchasing another Grand Theft Auto game unless this issue is addressed publicly.
I have no idea why there is even a report system in the game. I mean, can people "hack" GTA? That would be the only feasible reason to include the report feature. As far as I can tell, the only reason anyone would report anyone is because they are salty.
Everything can get hacked man, although I've never encountered a hacker in GTA V. But you are right that most people just abuse the system not just in GTA V but other games because they are salty/sore losers.
I have reported a hacker before but that was for obvious reasons. Trolls, tryhards and all the other nutcases that are apart of the GTA online community don't really phase me at all. You will find the aforementioned gamers in almost every popular competitive online games so you can't really get away from them.
Yep. Popular MP games are always full of those types of people and you just have to learn to ignore them.
I never really encountered this kind of problem while playing the game and I never reported anyone in the game.
That is what I usually do - I ignore them. It makes no sense to be getting worked up over a video game so it doesn't bother me at all when I encounter people like this. They have been around since the dawn of competitive online gaming(yes, I encountered people like this as a kid when playing unreal tournament) and they are customers just like the rest of us and their money keeps GTA running.
Having said that though, I feel like GTA VI is going to tank pretty hard because a lot of the GTA fanbase has been turned off by Rockstar turning GTA online into one big micro-transaction mess. Unless Rockstar returns to the roots of what made GTA great they risk destroying their own legacy. Most of GTA fanbase that has quit GTA online will not return to the game for the foreseeable future because of what the game has become.
Nah. This is the only franchise I don't think will ever tank, unless they simply made a bad game. Which they won't, because Rockstar has more than enough budget and talented people to not do that.
So far, I haven't reported any player yet. I've encountered a lot of disrespectful player and a cheater as well. But, as long as I can hold my temper I still not minding them. What I'm doing when someone really annoyed me in the game is just simply, leave the game for a while. Don't engage yourself with that kind of people.
The nightclubs DLC is fun for the first half an hour but it grows very old real quick. Couldn't rockstar have come up with something better? The nightclub is an expensive investment with minimal returns. I am on the fence about buying one and the only reason I would purchase one is for the vehicles that can only be unlocked if you finish the DLC.
Report someone when gaming? That seems a little bit childish and extreme imo. I feel like if you have made the decision to join the online gaming community, then you should at least have the cojones to take a little shade.
I only report hackers and modders for obvious reasons but everyone else doesn't really bother me all that much. You can always ignore most of the people online.
My philosophy is, if I have the option to totally ignore you, then that is exactly what I'm going to do.
