Has anyone here noticed that Ubisoft started offering a free trial of The Crew on uPlay? I think they started offering it on the first of July, but I still haven't gotten 'round trying it. Has anyone tried the trial? What was your opinion on it? What do they offer?

Nope. I purchased the game when it came out. I'm not surprised that there's a trial, though. They have to give undecided players some reason to want to buy the game.

I actually didn't know about the trial. I'll have to tell a few friends so they can check out the game over the weekend.

It's the first time I've heard of a trial for this game but I guess it'll benefit the player base in the long run. I personally bought the game at launch so I can't answer your questions.

I guess it'll do wonders for their sales, but I have to ask you: how is the player base? Are there many players, or is it a ghost town?

I haven't played for a while but when I did there were quite some players so I don't think you're going to have problems in that category.

Nice! Good to know that there's one more game alive out there! :D Sadly, most current generation games have died a horrible death, and I'm not really talking about racing games here. I'm talking about AAA titles, such as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (let's forget about Ghosts, that was a bad joke), Battlefield Hardline and many others.

I know and it's pretty sad, really. I honestly expected a lot more from Call of Duty and Battlefield but they weren't up to par with what the community wanted, that's why those games fell off relatively quick.
