Need For Speed is getting rebooted with a brand new title coming soon. What does everyone think?

Mhm, I'm really excited to see how the game it's going to be. Got anymore news about this? I'm really curious. I haven't played NFS for a long time.

I'm on the fence, like I have been with most EA games i'll wait and see what they do because they keep cash grabbing people and I don't want to be in on a game at launch anymore.

A lot of gamers have shied away from pre-orders and game day launches. It's probably the smartest move, considering how many broken games have been released.

I think it would be great to see a reboot since I think they are being a little forgotten and overshadowed by new titles and I would love to get to play some of the older games that have new graphics for widescreen.

Right. I think the last game I preordered was well over 2 years ago and I might be wrong about that, it could actually be longer. It feels like you preorder something now and you get burned badly for it.

I think that the franchise really needed this. After the (arguably) catastrophic receptions of the last two or three games, this one better make it right. This is a glorious series, which was abused recently by EA's dirty business practices. It deserves better, and I hope they won't treat this reboot the same way.

Yep, saw the trailer. Looks pretty good. Hopefully this will be as good as all the newer NFS games after Most Wanted should have been. Hopefully, this will be the Underground 3 that all of us have been waiting for. Make it happen, EA! Don't disappoint us again. We have given you many chances and you have blew them. The Most Wanted reboot was horrible. It had almost no customization and the story was weak as hell. Give us a worthy sequel to either Underground 2 or to the original Most Wanted.

I agree. I think they are getting overshadowed by newer titles and it's unnecessary since it is a great title but as you've said it is due to the mishandling of recent versions so I'm hoping the reboot gets to the roots of what made people flock to their old games instead of just focusing on surface level elements.

I'm so excited for it! It's going to be so awesome! All the NFS games are so good, especially the new ones. I'm always looking forward to the next game.

I wouldn't really say bad, but they were definitely underpar for the genre. I really enjoyed Underground and Carbon though.
