For me, Moto GP 14 has some major weaknesses, including lackluster graphics and a physics engine that doesn't work how you would expect things to in real life. There are more negatives here than positives, that's for sure.
I agree with you, it's definitely lackluster. The graphics are mediocre, but they work, but the physics engine feels as if it was made by some rookie programmers.
Agreed. I think it's especially more noticeable nowadays when every other game is already raising their own standard so the ones with less punch stand out a bit more.
I watched this side by side comparison of 13 and 14. Do you guys really see a difference? I don't see it at all. Looks like they just took the disc repainted it and put it into a new box and sold it as is. Hopefully anyone who was going to get 13 but didn't, will buy this crappy game.
These MotoGP games though are a great way to experience Gran Prix motorcycle racing. Since motorcycles built for MotoGP are neither available for purchase nor can you ride them legally on public roads- MotoGP 14 is a great way to experience them in a virtual way. Some pros of MotoGP 14 are great physics, multiple modes, and multiplayer as well. Some of the cons include repetitive, and unimpressive graphics and sound.
Well even if the game is rather lackluster, I'm pretty sure once the fans complain they would do something about it on their next release.
